The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical skills to interpret rent rolls, income statements, financing alternatives and other financial data to build financial models for use in industrial, office and retail property “Sale” offerings. This candidate will assist the investment sales team members in preparing marketing materials, underwriting, broker opinion of value letters and the marketing process. This position is intended to grow the candidate into a commercial real estate agent producer.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance for industrial, office and retail properties
  • Analyze financial information such as rent rolls, income and expenses statements, tenant leases, tenant sales, and market research including comparable sales and local economic trends
  • Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to property valuation
  • Study market statistics for relevant data for each product type
  • Prepare marketing flyers and offering memorandums
  • Provide support for the acquisition, financing, and disposition process
  • Communicate financial insights to the buyer’s financial analyst/team
  • Manage the due diligence process interacting with seller and buyer
  • Maintain a comparable sales database
  • Maintain a pipeline report for working transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, and/or real estate
  • Advanced knowledge of ARGUS Enterprise, with 2+ years’ financial modeling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Critical thinker, strong work ethics, ability to work alone or on a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of Argus

Salary Range

$50,000 to $65,000 Base Salary based on experience plus a bonus

Job Title:  Leasing Market Director

Required Experience: This is an entry-level position; however, a candidate with experience will have the opportunity to grow in the division at a faster pace.

Job Description: This job opening is to join NAI Robert Lynn’s Office Project Leasing Team as a Market Director. Responsibilities will include primarily prospecting for new business and setting up meetings with property owners. Secondarily, the position will be responding to leasing inquiries, property tours, marketing available spaces, managing current office portfolio, assisting on presentations, research, and data entry. When representing landlords, Market Directors execute action plans to fill the vacancies with qualified tenants and negotiate on behalf of the landlord. Qualities of a successful Market Director include team player, attention to detail, accommodating, high urgency, energetic, reliable, eager to learn, hardworking, independent, and intelligent.
